My current addiction is Kewpie Mayonnaise. I love it on everything. It’s the MSG in it that adds huge umami to any dish it’s added to. So I decided to make a quick Aioli with it.
Super, duper easy. Kewpie, lemon juice and crushed garlic.
I allowed it to sit in the refrigerator for several hours for the flavors to meld nicely.
Then served as a condiment to sous vide lobster and shrimp. This quick sauce really packs some flavor!
The lobster was purchased from Get Maine Lobster, and the shrimp was purchased from Great Alaska Seafood.
Kewpie Mayonnaise Aioli
- 1/4 cup Kewpie Mayonnaise
- 2-3 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Mix ingredients together and allow to chill several hours.
