I don’t know how I’ve never posted about this before, but one of our absolute favorite ways to cook is on our Blackstone flattop grill. Aaron makes fun of me because I will not eat a homemade burger cooked any other way at this point (regardless if the snow is flying in Wisconsin).
Since today is #Nationalgreasyfood day, I decided it would be a perfect day to do a review…
This is a double-double animal style. That is, grilled on top of onions and mustard, with extra cheese and extra onions on top. Look at how gorgeous that is!!
And there she is, the Blackstone grill. I purchased this for my husband for father’s day, and it was really just the perfect gift that keeps on giving.
So…what can you do with this thing? Well first of all, you can cook a WHOLE MESS of food on it.
These were some amazing cheesesteaks we made.
Gyro kebabs grilled to perfection.
It literally makes the best pancakes, ever. EVER. Like we will not even eat pancakes that aren’t cooked this way anymore. And you can make A LOT of them.
And then of course there’s bacon and eggs. Or eggs cooked in bacon grease. All come out so crispy and amazing.
SO. MUCH. BACON!!
If you’ve considered buying one I strongly encourage this as another great tool in your grilling toolkit. The upkeep is minimal (we did have to season it several times, and I do have a cover for it that rarely gets put on, but at this point we just scrape it down after using it).
