Do you like anchovies? We really do but in all honesty you do not have to like anchovies to enjoy this delicious compound butter. The anchovy flavor is really quite subtle, but definitely adds an umami kick.

Simple ingredients:
- Butter
- Anchovies
- Garlic
- Pepper

It’s pretty simple. Just warm some butter and mash some garlic, anchovies and black pepper into the butter. The anchovies just fall apart into the butter.
Then sear your steak in a cast iron pan.

To your desired doneness!

And melt your compound butter over the steak.

And serve. Here I served with sous vide shrimp and lobster.

Rare!! And delicious. I served it with a side of creamed spinach as well.
